UJAMAA and the Red Cross reached out to the community and they came! When we say that team work makes the "Dream Work" well this time team

work helped to save lives! Blood donations are always needed and it makes a big statement when the UJAMAA community united together and donated blood so that it will be available when it's needed. Even when the drive was almost over the donors kept coming! The neighborhood stepped up their game and hit a home run! But, we can't forget those who were driving by and came in to make a blood donation also!

The conclusion of a Town Hall Meeting at the UJAMAA Community Facility turned into a rare and heart felt meeting with Senator Jamilah Nasheed, Pat Cole the director of UJAMAA, several youths and a few of St. Louis's movers and shakers. Young people voiced their concerns about their neighborhood schools while others brought issues to the forefront  that seemed to always go unnoticed in our communities.
